I know we’ve been focusing a lot on premium WordPress themes this week, but that is because they have been getting released in a flurry lately. Based on the rate that these themes are being released, it appears that these authors are finding a lot of success selling them.   This means, in my mind, that premium themes are here to stay, so I will be placing some focus on them when they are released.

The newest premium themes that I’ve run across are the Flash News/Magazine Theme and the Premium News theme: Gazette Edition, both of which are now available for purchase at Premium News Themes.

In staying true to the previous themes put out by Adii and crew, these themes have a similar look and follow the same trend as previously released versions.  Here are the new looks:

Premium News theme: Gazette Edition

Gazette Edition

Both themes are available for $99.95, or $249.95 for a developer’s license.  To read more about these themes or to purchase a copy, check out Premium News Themes.

no…really…you don’t have to focus more on “premium themes”
most bloggers aren’t interested, as you can tell by the number of comments, and it seems like a rather contrived business model.
I’m giving your blog one more week to maintain a spot in my bookmarks…yeah, i know, big deal…but it is indicative of the opinion of some of your subscribers. We aren’t gonna buy a theme, so we really don’t need to hear about them quite so much.
Maybe a digest of them on Sunday when things are slow.

    Have a good day!

Mud - Thanks for your opinion! I’ve heard from a few of these premium theme authors that many of these posts convert to sales, so people are indeed buying them. I just don’t know, however, if it is subscribers or if it is search engine traffic that is purchasing them.

I do know that premium themes seem to be here to stay, based on the rate they continue to be released. As part of my committment to blogging about all things WordPress, I will continue to cover them in some form.

Anyway, I will keep your comment in mind. Thanks again!
