As I mentioned in a post written last month, I wanted to collect everyones WordPress resources so I could throw together a WordPress resources page. After all, WordPress is community-based and it seemed like a good way to support WordPress users. I am proud to say that I was able to combine my favorite WordPress sites with yours to create a WordPress resources page here at Hack WordPress, which I hope people will find useful.
If you are wondering why a couple sites are left off the list, it is probably for one of two reasons. The first is that I don’t know about it and the second is because I had to leave off (for the most part) any submitted blogs that occasionally write about WordPress (such as a category or whatever). This is because the collection of WordPress resources is already very large and these types of lists can get out of hand if you don’t draw the line somewhere.
As with my WordPress theme galleries and other lists I maintain here, my ultimate goal is to keep this page useful. As a result, I will make every attempt to keep this page updated over time. You can help by letting us know if you find any invalid links or you would like to see something added.
As for the list itself, here is what I’ve collected so far:
| WordPress Blogs | WordPress Theme/Plugin Authors |
|---|---|
| Other WordPress Contributors | Display WordPress Themes |

Hey Kyle, thanks for including my site as a WordPress resource, really appreciate it. I also seem to be in good company with most of the other sites that are listed.

@ Pavel - I will check out WPZoom.com.
@ WPGuy - I will check out your site as well.
@ Andrea - No problem.
@ Mario - Great idea! I won’t update the post, but i’ll consider doing this on the actual page up top.
@ Jeffro - No problem. I didn’t list you under WordPress Blogs because you posted that you would be posting your WordPress posts elsewhere.

Thanks Kyle, for including WP Project—much appreciated. Rubbing shoulders with company such as this is an honor.
Keep up the good work with Hack WordPress.

I dont believe that WP designer to be considered any longer as a WP resource. Nothing to say all great entries that has been written till the blog is sold out. But ever since, all I saw was the spam comments that are made to first message of new owner

I actually agree with Mehment, WP Designer has become a $65,000 ghost town. A shame indeed. Not to say that the archive located their is a resource, because it is. But I don’t believe WP Designer has deserved any more backlinks since it was sold.

WPDesigner was included because of the resource that it was and still is to WordPress users. If nothing else, the new owner is paying to keep the site online so we can use the older resources!
I think I will leave it there for now, but in future revisions it may be removed if it continues to be vacant as far as new content.

@ WPGuy - The WordPress niche has become a crowded space the last few months (which is why I felt the need to create this post), but there is always room for more. WordPress has a great community (fanbase) and I love seeing everyone contribute!
@ Haris - You’re welcome!

Thanks for the mention!
About WPDesigner, I think it deserves to be in the list. Even not being updated for a month or so…it’s still one of the top WordPress resources around. It’s a shame that it has become a “ghost town” though.

Thanks Kyle!
Others: Justin Tadlock and Play Work Play.
Another good tutorial site I noticed recently is The Wordpress Guru (http://wpguru.co.za/). I don’t know if there’s room enough in the WP community for both an Expert and a Guru, though. They may have to fight it out in the Thunderdome for Wordpress superiority.
