As Hack WordPress continues to grow and expand, I’ve been digging through the archives and found a lot of great information (I know I’m a little biased). While I want readers to dig through the archives, it seems at some point that the natural progression is to create a WordPress eBook for readers to get a bunch of information in one convenient location.

So my question is this…..Would you be interested in a WordPress eBook? Let me know which of the following applies to you:

  1. I would be interested in purchasing a WordPress eBook at an affordable price. (Price would be $10.00 or less)
  2. I would be interested in downloading a WordPress eBook only if it was free.
  3. I would not be interested in downloading the WordPress eBook.

I’d be interested - even would be willing to pay for it with some insight into the content (perhaps an option to preview the first couple of chapters for free would be a good marketing/sales tool?)

If it’s good, I’d pay for it.

Maybe we can write one together or something!

Thanks for the input guys! I’ve been sort of working on one in my spare time. I just wanted to make sure there would be some demand for it.

I also have my first theme coming out this weekend, so keep an eye out for that. It’s nothing to amazing, but I think some people will like it!

I’d actually pay for a bound physical book so that I could read it offline during my long train commute to and from work each morning and evening.

Yeah, I’ll buy it if it’s good. Perhaps you could sell a free ebook and a paid bound physical book. Lulu.com can be a great place to start.

Create an eBook worth paying for (more than $10) and offer the first chapter or two for free.

Kyle, $5 to $10 for your past content bundled into an eBook is a good deal. If you release a free version perhaps it should consist of less content, with teaser excerpts. Either way, I think you’ll move a lot of copies.
